Ali Uyanik is a patent agent at North Weber & Baugh LLP. He
specializes in patent preparation and prosecution, assisting companies
with the development of intellectual property strategies for highly
complex technologies. Mr. Uyanik is registered to practice before the
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the California Bar, the Arizona Bar, and the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association (SVIPLA).
Mr. Uyanik received his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2011. He holds M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.
Prior to joining North, Weber & Baugh, LLP, Mr. Uyanik worked as RF & Plasma Engineer in the semiconductor industry and also custom designed nuclear magnetic resonance probes. In the intellectual property area, Mr. Uyanik worked as a patent agent for an LED lighting startup company in Silicon Valley where he performed freedom to operate searches, identified patentable technologies, developed patent mapping strategies, and interfaced with outside counsel to coordinate the patent prosecution process.
