Dr. Park is a patent agent and specializes in intellectual property law, with an emphasis in patent law. For the past 11 years, Dr. Park has prosecuted US and international patent applications in the area of mechanics, software, electronic hardware and devices, optics and lasers, statistics, network communication, plasma instruments, medical devices, and nanotech. Dr. Park has also involved in other transactions, such as validity search, infringement analysis, and various litigation supports.
Before becoming a patent agent, Dr. Park gained more than 20 years of scientific/engineering research experience at various research institutes, including NASA Ames Research center, Lehigh University, SRI International, and Stanford University. Dr. Park's technical experience includes general mechanics, aerodynamics, experimental and computational fluid mechanics, helicopter blade noise analysis, aeronautics, optics and optical devices, lasers, spectroscopy, chromatography, tomography, chemically reacting non-equilibrium gas dynamics, semiconductor devices, semiconductor manufacturing and inspection equipment, medical devices, photonic devices, computer hardware and software, data communication systems and devices, and electronic instrumentation.
